Craftmanship
One look at our beds and upholstery and the quality speaks for itself. Each model is made by hand and it takes real skill to hand side-stitch a mattress, or to upholster the perfect sofa bed. It begins with our designers choosing the finest possible materials and combining them for maximum comfort, creating a wonderful look for our outstanding pieces of furniture.
Provenance
The Gainsborough sofa bed was originally created over 40 years ago, after a terrible night’s sleep on a run-of-the-mill sofa bed. We couldn’t find anything better in the market, so we created our own. This ethos persists to this day, if we wouldn’t sleep on it or sit on it, we wouldn’t make it. We expect the very best because you do.
